Unfortunately, these PSA’s are becoming a more common part of life. The latest is a text message scam that claims it is coming from Fed-Ex and includes a clickable link. This is a text message version of the often seen Phishing Email scams. If you receive this text message from Fed-Ex DO NOT click on the link.

This is a good reminder to never click on any links in unsolicited emails, and now, text messages you may receive. If you are not sure about the validity of the email/message and want to follow up on it you should either call the company directly or log into the company’s verified and secure website. This also includes clicking on phone numbers in emails and text messages. Always verify and get from the legit website.
